Tech Emerging Europe Advocates
Tech Emerging Europe Advocates, a community by Reinvantage, is a movement of individuals and organisations shaping the future of technology and innovation across 25 countries—home to over 200 million people.
We believe the region’s strength lies in its diversity, adaptability, and ability to connect local progress with global relevance.
Rather than building a centralised organisation, we’ve created a movement. One led by advocates, supported by network organisations, and guided by a trusted advisory board.
Together, we spotlight talent, share intelligence, and co-create visibility for the region’s most promising ecosystems—from early-stage innovators to policy shapers and scale-up champions.
We are part of the Global Tech Advocates network—a 40,000-strong, volunteer-led community founded by Russ Shaw CBE, spanning more than 30 hubs worldwide. Tech Emerging Europe Advocates is the network’s largest group by geography and serves as its gateway into one of the world’s most dynamic and fast-evolving tech regions.
Our mission is to position the region as one of the world’s most sustainable, connected, and forward-looking technology hubs.

Advocates form the backbone of Tech Emerging Europe Advocates. They are entrepreneurs, founders, ecosystem enablers, researchers, technologists, policymakers, and creatives who are committed to telling the region’s story — honestly, loudly, and globally.
They don’t just represent countries or sectors. They represent ideas, values, and movements.
Being an advocate is not honorary. It’s active. It’s a shared responsibility to grow something meaningful together.
Why become an advocate?
- Global reach
Join a growing network of 40,000+ advocates worldwide through Global Tech Advocates, with direct access to founders, investors, and changemakers. - Real connection
Be part of an engaged community through online groups, events, and in-person meetups — across borders, themes, and industries. - Shared learning
Gain curated insights from the TEEA and GTA network, plus co-create campaigns, roundtables, and reports that influence the future. - Your voice counts
Participate in feedback loops with policymakers, regulators and ecosystem shapers. You’ll be invited to surveys, advisory sessions, and strategic discussions.
What we expect in return
- Be an active connector: make introductions, offer support, open doors
- Help grow the network: recommend two advocates per year
- Stay involved: follow updates, engage on community platforms, contribute to conversations
- Keep showing up: we review participation annually to ensure the network remains alive and meaningful
This is a no-fee network. What we ask for is time, energy, and commitment.

Tech Emerging Europe Advocates is not a centralised initiative—it’s a movement. And movements grow through meaningful partnerships.
We partner with one or two trusted organisations in each country to serve as local anchors for our network. These are ecosystem builders—accelerators, tech hubs, associations, think tanks, universities, or innovation agencies — already working to support entrepreneurs, talent, and innovation in their local context.
By becoming a Network Organisation, you help us:
- Elevate and promote your local ecosystem globally
- Co-create events, campaigns, and ecosystem insights
- Act as the first point of contact in your country for international collaboration
- Shape how your country is seen in the global innovation landscape
What you get in return
- Visibility: Your organisation is profiled on our website, promoted in our campaigns, and featured in our ecosystem mapping
- Co-creation: Work with us on storytelling, reports, community events, and investment-focused initiatives
- Global access: Connect with other organisations in the Global Tech Advocates network, and help open doors for your founders and local start-ups
- Strategic input: Contribute to TEEA’s programming, direction, and focus areas in your region
- Membership benefit: Free access to Reinvantage’s future member-only offerings for strategic partners
This is a values-aligned partnership—no cost, no vanity. Just collaboration with purpose.
Become a Network Organisation
We’re currently looking to identify 1–2 organisations per country that:
- are already active in the local tech/start-up ecosystem
- have a track record of collaboration and ecosystem support
- share our mission to raise the region’s profile internationally
- are ready to engage, connect, and help build something meaningful
